We are thrilled to share the latest chapter in the journey of GR1T Motorcycles. Last weekend we put our newest prototype of the Pioneer PRO electric motorcycle to the test alongside our esteemed brand ambassador, Jan Brabec, a seasoned veteran of the Dakar Rally. He brought along, Viktor Chytka, Martin Prokop’s co-driver at this year’s Dakar Rally where they finished in a fantastic 5th place! We are truly humbled and grateful to have another world-class racer test our bike.

The testing took place at a motocross track near Břeclav, Czech Republic, over the course of Friday, March 8th, and Saturday, March 9th, 2024. As usual, we had bad weather for our tests. This time we had temperatures of just 5 degrees Celsius and strong winds. This, however, had no effect on our mood and the enthusiasm of our guests.

The upgraded version of the Pioneer PRO boasts a 420A Sony battery, a significant upgrade from the previous Samsung cells that didn’t meet our performance requirement. With this new battery, the Pioneer PRO harnesses its full 15kW of peak power, delivering an unparalleled riding experience for enthusiasts and professionals alike. We appreciate all the hard work that FP Fahrzeugtechnik is doing behind the scenes to continuously improve this gem of a bike.

One of the standout enhancements to the Pioneer PRO prototype was the addition of motocross tires. The fat Pirelli Scorpions give the Pioneer PRO a more aggressive look and greatly enhance the bike’s stability and handling on the track. This improvement, coupled with the upgraded battery, elevates the Pioneer PRO to new heights of performance and agility.

Jan Brabec’s feedback was nothing short of glowing. As a seasoned Dakar Rally competitor, Jan’s endorsement holds significant weight in the world of motorsports. He remarked, “This bike is really fun and stable. The improvement from last time is incredible. I can do whatever I want on this bike. It behaves like a motocross bike. I trust it.”

We also invited a select group of people to give us their honest opinion as potential future customers and/or investors. They were equally impressed by the Pioneer PRO’s performance and ease of use. From students to actors to business owners, a diverse group of individuals raved about the bike’s intuitive controls and lightweight design. “You just hop on and off you go! It’s so light, it’s almost like a bike!” exclaimed one delighted guest. 

Looking ahead, our team at GR1T Motorcycles remains committed to refining and optimizing the Pioneer PRO prototype with the aim of bringing a market-ready version to consumers in the first half of 2025. However, the timeline for this release is contingent upon securing the necessary funding, which we are actively raising.
